- Winter - Saturday, February 21
- Spring - Saturday, May 9
- Summer - Saturday, August 1
- Fall - Saturday, November 7
All promotions are held at the YMCA of Central Maryland, Dancel Family Center, Ellicott City, MD. Promotions begin at 3:00 PM, after the beginner class, and should end by 5:30 PM. Additionally, students promoting to Advanced Green, Brown, or Advanced Brown belt must be present at the 12:00 PM Advanced class and may be asked to participate in other classes as well. Please ask Jun-Shihan Kate for detailed instructions prior to promotion.
